The fruit is the shining star in this bottle. From the Tablas 99 clone grown at Tierra Alta vineyard, this wine shows intensely bright top notes of tart and black cherry swirled together with fresh pomegranate juice. The vibrancy of the fruit is balanced by a steady tannin structure that delivers a nice weight on the tongue while introducing delicious spicy black and white pepper flavors to round out the overall mouth feel.  Smooth, balanced and robust. 100 cases produced.

This Grenache is a wild, dynamic, seductive and elegant wine. This vintage exhibits a full, round mouth feel with extraordinary berry notes, spice, Aleppo pepper, and ends with a long-finish that lingers…for a long time. Licorice, tar, jam and sunshine are what come to mind when I drink this wine. The grapes were cold-soaked for 7 days before beginning primary fermentation and pressed at 2 brix to complete fermentation in neutral French Oak barrels to preserve the wine’s delicate yet rustic fruit characteristics. Bright and bold Grenache mellowed with 20% of rich, structured, earthy Syrah. Flavors of black and red pepper, black cherry, blackberry, luscious cranberry and moist loamy earth meld wonderfully together in this wine.  100 cases produced.

A wine made to honor my illustrious grandmother, Babi “Ilinka” from Macedonia. Gewurztraminer is a common varietal found not only in Germany and the Alsace region of France, but in the Balkans, as well. This grape would have most likely been growing in her village vineyards. With a robust personality and intense aromatics of mandarin, grapefruit, Meyer lemon and vanilla, this wine lives up to its flamboyant personality. Perfect for Babi. Grapes are sourced from the oldest own-rooted Gewurz plantings in the valley at Rancho de Vina de Santa Ynez in Santa Ynez.  79 cases produced.

eats: lobster, shellfish, mussels, clams, spaghetti vongole, Japanese sukiyaki, arugula salads, salsas, spicy foods. 
cheese: Munster, gouda, semi-soft and creamy cheese, brie, mozzarella, burrata.

This viognier exhibits bold characteristics of a Rhone varietal caressed by Central California sunshine. It is intensely perfumed and wonderfully fruity with a great roundness on the palate that comes from cold maceration, neutral French Oak barrel fermentation and sur lees aging. This is a full-bodied wine. Tropical top notes of pineapple and mango are balanced with muskmelon, creamy key-lime pie and vanilla spiced rum. Methode Traditionale style.  This is truly a small batch production as only 75 cases were made for our second vintage of sparkling wine, with many more to come.  Crafted from our Rosebud Syrah Rosé, this is a sophisticated and extraordinarily fun wine combining the richness of our favorite rosé with the added chic of tiny bubbles.  A completely new and heady experience.  This is a luscious wine – not your ordinary sparkler.
